Ryan Davies, right, a high school student, won the men’s singles title at the Sarnia Tennis Club championships recently.
He defeated runner-up Marian Polakovic, left, who recently became a grandfather.
Polakovic teamed up with daughter Monika to win the mixed doubles title, while Davies and Divyesh Bhargava took the men’s doubles crown.
