Sarnia native and former Point Edward Pacer Dylan Lavoie made it to the Canadian Junior A Lacrosse Championships this year as a member of the Victoria Shamrocks. Despite losing the first two round-robin games, Lavoie and the Shamrocks advanced to the Minto Cup best-of-five championship series in Langley, B.C. where they lost to the Orangeville Northmen. The 21-year-old defenceman played five seasons in Point Edward.
