Six local fighters won their matches at Bluewater Boxing Club’s 2nd annual meet on July 20.
Eight city fighters entered the ring erected inside the airport’s Badger Hangar and squared off against boxers from across Ontario as well as Scotland’s Greenock Boxing Club.
The Taylor name was featured in two bouts, with both Mandy Taylor and son Dylan Taylor securing victories.

Mandy Taylor, who was watched closely in the crowd by her father and local boxing legend Tim Taylor, was entering the ring for the first time in years.
She landed a flurry of clean punches to defeat an opponent from Welland, Ont.
Dylan Taylor managed to control Scottish fighter Dylan Wallace and won by unanimous decision in the main event.
Sarnia Police officer Steve Wyville also pulled out a win for Bluewater, as did fighters Connor McRae, Nicole Drury and Nick Lord.
