St. Clair Child & Youth Services has partnered with minor hockey associations across Sarnia-Lambton to focus on the issue of child and youth mental health.

Throughout the month of November, the agency is offering education sessions to bench staff, highlighting the signs and symptoms of mental health issues.

Home teams are showing their support by taping sticks green to send the message the rink is a safe place to talk, and mental health information is available to players, coaches, and parents.

In addition to minor hockey, the Sarnia Legionnaires and Mooretown Flags are holding their own special mental health awareness games.
