Stuffed animals rain down to the ice after Sarnia Sting centre Anthony Salinitri scored in the first period of the 19th annual Teddy Bear Toss game Dec. 4 at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
The event,which is organized by Lambton Ford, results in numerous charities distributing the collected toys to local children.
With the latest haul, the Teddy Bear Toss has now generated nearly 54,000 stuffed animals since its inception.
The Sting won the OHL game, downing the Niagara IceDogs 4-3 in a shootout.
