Three groups receive Alix Foundation grants

The Judith & Norman Alix Foundation recently provided three community projects with a total of $166,510. St. Clair Child & Youth Services is getting $45,000 to renovate its waiting area and provide a more family- friendly environment.

St. Clair Child & Youth Services is getting $45,000 to renovate its waiting area and provide a more family- friendly environment.

The Kiwanis Club Children’s Animal Farm Foundation received $50,000 to help rebuilt the Carriage House in Canatara Park.

And the Inn of the Good Shepherd was given $71,510 for multiple projects, including a new van and building improvements.

Over the past 30 years the Alix Foundation has advanced $5 million for more than 20 community projects.

The Foundation only considers requests for capital projects. Eligibility criteria can be found at www.jnaf.ca.
