With the Olympic gold around his neck, Derek Drouin reacts to the cheering hometown crowd that greeted him in Corunna this morning.
The 26-year-old Olympic high jump champion, who attended St. Joseph’s elementary and St. Patrick’s High School, was the star of a downtown parade organized by St. Clair Township.
A reception was also planned for Antonio’s Sports Bar, where Drouin was to greet and speak with his many fans.
