A trio of wild turkeys has been surprising motorists in the area of Christina Street and Errol Road in recent weeks and may have taken up residence in the woods and fairways of the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club.
Though wild turkeys are renowned for wariness these city birds seem largely untroubled by cars and people.
Here, they and a fortunate squirrel share a bonanza of seeds left on the driveway of an Errol Road West home.
