The Mooretown Jr. Flags bantam team boys’ hockey team capped a remarkable year by winning an Ontario Minor Hockey Association crown.
The Junior Flags went 12-1-1 in the provincial playdowns, including a 3-1 series victory over Petrolia in the final, to win the Bantam B championship.
Earlier this year, the Mooretown bantams won the International Silver Stick title and completed the season with an impressive 49-5-3 record.
