Canada Day festivities in Bright’s Grove on Saturday have been cancelled.
The Bright’s Grove Optimists say the decision was made based on the weather forecast, which is calling 20 to 30 mm of rain (about one inch) and wind gusts up to 70 km/h on Saturday.
“We were so looking forward to seeing you all again this year, but hopefully next year,” said spokesperson Mary De Swert.
