Construction has begun on Habitat for Humanity’s latest build.

Karen Ramsay, centre, and Sharon Silk, right, will live in the new home going up in Petrolia, which, for the first time, is being built by all-female volunteer work crews.

With them is Debbie McNeil, branch manager of RBC in Forest and Petrolia.

Ramsay said she’s excited about the new home and hopes to celebrate her 50th birthday there in September.
