Sarnia Police said Wednesday they had arrested a 44-year-old man on March 20 for nine historical sex-related charges involving minors.

Daniel Swarath was arrested and charged with four counts of sexual assault, four counts of sexual interference and one count of invitation to sexual touching.
The incidents occurred between January 1993 and December 1999, and the victims knew the man, police said.
Swarath was taken in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
