An open house will be held in honour of long time former Mayor Dick Kirkland who stepped down in November for health reasons. Kirkland’s political career spanned more than 50 years, including three terms as mayor.

The open house is scheduled for Thursday, April 24 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Optimist Hall adjacent to the arena.
