Annual event will bring together local agencies, services, and community groups for a full day of information and activities.

The Age-Friendly Expo will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Point Edward Memorial Arena, offering residents an opportunity to connect with a wide range of local services and organizations.
The free event runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is expected to feature approximately 100 community groups, health services, and social agencies from across the Sarnia-Lambton area. Organizers say the expo typically draws large crowds, with attendance reaching around 2,000 people in previous years.
The event is organized by a local committee led by the Sarnia-Lambton Ontario Health Team and Lambton Elderly Outreach.
Attendees can expect information booths, live demonstrations, music, and opportunities to learn about volunteer roles and community programs. A collaborative art project will also be available for participants.
The expo is open to all ages and is designed to help residents learn about available supports in the community, including services for seniors, families, and newcomers.
Parking will be available at the arena, with additional parking at nearby locations including the casino in Point Edward. A shuttle service will be provided to assist with transportation to and from the venue.
Organizers have also introduced guided tours for local high school students to explore potential career paths, as well as co-op and volunteer opportunities within community organizations.
