Marion Carlyle Maness beloved husband, father, passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on May 3, 2026, in his 74th year.
Carlyle was born on January 9, 1952, in Sarnia on Aamjiwnaang First Nation, to Carl and Norma Maness the second oldest of 8 children.
As a young teen, Carlyle trusted his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to help him on his lifelong Journey.
Carlyle is lovingly survived by his brother Edwin, sisters Trudy (Dennis), Carole (Rob), Arlene (Mike), and brothers-in-law John and Tom. Carlyle is predeceased by his wife Carol (2010), his mother Norma (2022), his father Carl (1993), his sister Bertha (2009), his sister Carletta (2019), his brother Bruce (2017), his sister-in-law Mireille (2009), and his sister-in-law Sandy (2023).
Carlyle was a car guy; in the younger years he loved to take his brothers and sisters for rides in his muscle cars and take them wherever they wanted to go.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Maawn Doosh Gumig, 1972 Virgil Ave., Sarnia, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Aamjiwnaang Cemetery.
