Get ready to roll: Sarnia Rollerskating brings family fun back to Clearwater Arena this spring

Roll into spring fun with Sarnia Rollerskating at Clearwater Arena! Join family-friendly open skating sessions every Sunday evening with a live DJ, skate rentals, and great rates for all ages — while helping build momentum toward Sarnia’s own year-round skating facility.

Sarnia’s roller skating community is picking up speed again, with open family sessions returning to the Clearwater Arena (1400 Wellington St.) throughout the spring and early summer of 2026. Organized by the dedicated team behind Sarnia Rollerskating, these events offer a nostalgic, high-energy way for all ages to lace up and glide — while building momentum toward a bigger dream: a permanent year-round rollerskating facility right here in Sarnia.

Session Schedule (2026)

Sessions run 6:00–8:00 pm on Sundays (times subject to change — always double-check the latest on sarniarollerskating.ca):

  • Sunday, May 3
  • Sunday, May 10
  • Sunday, May 17
  • Sunday, May 24
  • Sunday, May 31
  • June dates to be announced (TBD)

A live DJ spins tunes and takes requests, creating a fun, inclusive vibe. Free bottled water is available (just don’t take containers onto the floor). Slower skaters should stay toward the middle, faster ones on the outside, and beginners have a designated area to build confidence.

Admission & Rentals

  • Adults: $7
  • Sarnia Rollerskating Club Members: $5
  • Under 16: $5
  • Skate rentals (quads, first-come first-served): $3
