It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family of Elaine Heather Cunningham announces her peaceful passing on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Trillium Villa Nursing Home in her 64th year. Reunited with her beloved parents, Cecil and Mary Cunningham, and brothers, John and Ivan Cunningham. Elaine will be missed by her brothers James (Pamela) and Bob (Barb) and their families, and by her Uncle John (the late Florence Kozachuk).

As a girl, Elaine attended the New Hope School. She went on to work as a Seamstress, with a particular talent for latch-hook sewing, before retiring from Wawanosh Enterprises after many years of service. Stubborn, Sassy, and Kind, Elaine took part in all of the beautiful things that life had to offer – Dancing, Elvis, Shopping, and Tim Horton’s Coffee. She loved people, with a particular fondness for babies and little children.

Elaine lived with her mother until she was 56 years old when she joined the Communities of St. Francis Advocates and eventually Trillium Villa Nursing Home. Her family would like to Thank the caring Staff and Friends that made Elaine’s time in these places, so special.

In keeping with Elaine’s wishes, a private family service was held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to a Charity of your choosing (cheques only at the funeral home please).
