Local residents can access free meditation, outdoor exercise, and nutritional support through a series of community-led wellness initiatives this May

The West Lambton Community Health Centre (WLCHC) has released its schedule for May, offering a variety of in-person and virtual programs designed to improve the physical and mental well-being of Sarnia-Lambton residents. These services prioritize local health accessibility and are offered free of charge, though some require advance registration.
With warmer weather arriving, the WLCHC is moving its low-impact exercise classes outdoors to Canatara Park. These one-hour sessions focus on cardio, bodyweight movements, and resistance training to support mobility and strength.
To register for exercise programs, residents should contact Rebecca at 519-344-3017 ext. 237.
The health centre continues to offer spaces for mindfulness and social engagement to combat isolation and reduce stress. By providing these public forums, the WLCHC fosters the human connections essential for a flourishing community.
WLCHC is also addressing food security and kitchen literacy through hands-on programming and affordable produce options. These initiatives empower residents to navigate the local food system sustainably.
For more information on these local health resources, residents are encouraged to visit the West Lambton Community Health Centre Facebook page or call the registration lines provided.
