The Sarnia Lambton Pickleball Club is launching the Rally House, a volunteer-run indoor facility providing local athletes with permanent year-round access to the region’s fastest-growing sport.

The Sarnia Lambton Pickleball Club (SLPC) is marking a major milestone for local athletics with the grand opening of its new year-round facility, the SLPC Rally House powered by Eltanty Sarnia Dental. Located at 1426 London Rd. beside Bains BBQ, the club will host an open house on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The event is open to current members, sponsors, prospective players, and local officials. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in free open play to test the new courts, which represent the only local indoor facility dedicated to pickleball throughout the entire year.
The project is the culmination of a three-year vision to create a permanent home for the sport in Sarnia-Lambton. Fully operated by volunteers, the SLPC has grown to include over 450 registered members under Pickleball Ontario, reflecting the massive surge in local interest.
"We have had this vision for at least 3 years—a year-round indoor pickleball club for the Sarnia-Lambton community," says Aldo Adamo, Vice President of SLPC. "To see it become a reality is very exciting."
The Rally House features four state-of-the-art indoor courts and a member lounge. Future plans for the site include a dedicated fitness room for performance training, contingent on pending grants. The club also utilizes a unique Player Development Committee of volunteers who provide mentorship and training sessions.
While high demand has resulted in a waitlist for preferred playing privileges, all SLPC members will be able to access the courts based on availability. Guests are also permitted to play when accompanied by a current member, and the facility is available for corporate or business rentals.
The grand opening will include refreshments, snacks, and door prizes. Visitors are asked to enter the facility through the back door during the open house hours.
As a volunteer-driven non-profit, the SLPC remains focused on promoting health and community connection. The opening of the Rally House secures a space for Sarnians to remain active regardless of the season, moving the sport beyond temporary seasonal arrangements into a permanent community fixture.
