With regard to the City Hall mural by local Indigenous artist Kennady Osborne and the many opinions circulating, I have had occasion to see the mural a few times in the media.
After having a closer look, I see many relatable things to all of us: a freighter, a canoe, fish, flowers, insects, eagles, an egret, a heron, a goose, a sunset, and our beautiful waters; everything to be enjoyed and shared by all who are a part of the human race.
Hearts need to change as we embrace all cultures in a positive way. Take a closer look at the mural and be proud and thankful!
