After more than two decades performing in New York City, acclaimed jazz artist Brenda Earle Stokes returns to her hometown for an intimate solo performance at the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts.

Internationally recognized jazz pianist, vocalist, and composer Brenda Earle Stokes is returning to her Sarnia roots for a special solo performance this April. The event marks a significant homecoming for the artist, who recently returned to the community after spending 24 years living and performing in the competitive jazz scene of New York City.
The performance, titled "Jazz, Originals and Beyond," promises to showcase the diverse musical palette Stokes cultivated during her time abroad. Attendees can expect a mix of classic jazz standards, original compositions, and unique arrangements that highlight her dual talents as both a formidable pianist and a vocalist.
The concert is scheduled for Friday, April 24, at 7:00 PM at the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts at 127 Christina St S, Sarnia, ON.
This performance offers local residents a chance to experience the high-calibre artistry of a Sarnian who has made a distinct mark on the international jazz stage.
Tickets for the event are available for $14, including HST. The community can purchase tickets directly at the Lawrence House or through their online store. For those purchasing online, the digital receipt will serve as the entry ticket for the evening.
