After a courageous battle with cancer, we say goodbye to our dear Martha Jones (Soulliere). Mother, grandma, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend.
Predeceased by her parents, Doug and Barb, her brother Eugene and sister Joan Gates (Greg).
Survived by her daughter, Terri Dagg-Barr (Dave) and grandson Christopher.
Her son Tim Dagg (Danielle) and grandchildren Emilee, Tyler, and Alex.
Her siblings, Ed (Sandra), Bill (Marian), Dick (Donna), Jim (Theresa), and Janet Tancrede (George), and forever friend Ruth Halle.
She will be missed by several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Martha retired from Vision Nursing Home after 25 dedicated years and took on making beautiful homemade cards. Martha especially loved being with friends old and new, always bringing joy to the people she met.
Special thanks to Dr. Lebert and the cancer team, Dr. MacSweeney and the hospice team, and to her home nurse Eric.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home – McKenzie Blundy Chapel, 431 Christina Street N., Sarnia, on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with a memorial service following at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, The family has requested donations to go to “That Girls Got Moxie” or St. Joseph’s Hospice (cheques only at the funeral home, please).
