A thank you note to helpful Alexander Mackenzie students

Sharing gratitude for a group of Alexander Mackenzie secondary students who used their automotive training to assist her with a roadside emergency during their lunch break.

I wanted to reach out to share a very positive experience I had last week and to recognize a few students.

While I was in the Tim Hortons, I realized my car had a flat tire. A group of Alexander Mackenzie students who were on their lunch break noticed and immediately offered to help.

They found the jack in my car, knew exactly what they were doing, and put the donut tire on for me. While they were doing it, they also involved me and explained what they were doing, which I really appreciated.

What impressed me just as much as their skills was how polite and respectful they were. They had great manners and were so kind to stop and help someone they didn’t know.

I just wanted you to know what a great reflection they are of your school and the auto program they are part of. Those practical life skills clearly make a real difference.

Thank you!
