Bruce McCulloch, the celebrated actor, comedian, writer, and director best known for his work with The Kids in the Hall, is scheduled to bring his new comedy tour, The Dark Purple Slice, to the Imperial Theatre in Sarnia on February 12, 2026, at 8:00 PM.
The show is a unique blend of stand-up, music, and character sketches, utilizing McCulloch's signature razor-sharp wit and absurd yet heartfelt storytelling to explore the strange and wonderful moments of life.
“Bruce McCulloch is an icon of Canadian comedy,” said Brian Austin, Executive Director of the Imperial Theatre. “He has influenced generations of comedians with his clever writing and fearless humour. We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome him to our stage.”
McCulloch’s extensive career includes writing, directing, and producing hit shows such as SNL, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Schitt’s Creek, Trailer Park Boys, and TallBoyz. He has also directed feature films like Superstar and Dog Park.
Tickets for the event go on public sale on Friday, October 10, at 10:00 AM. General admission tickets are $56. VIP tickets are also available for $140.75, which includes a photo with McCulloch and an autographed script or 8×10 photo.
