Blackmore Murphy Hynes will perform a special house concert at the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts on Friday, February 20, 2026, offering audiences an intimate evening of live music in one of the city’s most distinctive cultural spaces.
The performance will feature three locals who have been playing together closely for the last year, Mike Blackmore, Daniel Murphy, and Brian Hynes.
Each member has been a familiar presence in the Sarnia-Lambton music scene for more than 30 years, performing in a range of formats from solo shows and full bands to their current work as a trio. Their sets blend instrumental pieces, jazz standards, and selections from the 1960s and 1970s, alongside original material shaped by blues, folk, and Celtic influences. Through their work, they often reflect on life, creativity, and social issues, bringing both humour and insight to their performances.
The February 20 concert will provide audiences with a close-up experience of the trio’s evolving sound and storytelling, set within the historic and welcoming atmosphere of Lawrence House.
Further details on tickets and attendance are available through the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts.
