This year, the Sarnia Concert Association (SCA) is celebrating an incredible milestone: 90 years of bringing world-class music to the Sarnia community. This remarkable achievement makes it the oldest musical series in Ontario.

The SCA's legacy is built on a simple yet powerful mission: to present unique, high-quality concerts featuring both classical and jazz music. The upcoming season promises to continue this tradition with a series of five concerts – two in the fall and three in the spring – showcasing a variety of world-class Canadian talent. The SCA is a registered charity, and its dedication to keeping music accessible is reflected in its ticket pricing, offering a "refreshing change" from the cost of big-city events.

What makes the SCA's 90-year run even more impressive is that the organization is run entirely by volunteers. There are no paid staff, with the passionate board and dedicated volunteers handling every aspect of the series, from planning to promotion. This hands-on approach even extends to scouting new talent, with volunteers attending musical festivals to discover exceptional performers to bring to Sarnia.

All concerts will be held at the Imperial Theatre. The season promises a mix of light, popular, and more serious musical entertainment. While most concerts will begin at 7:30 pm, there is one exception: the Sunday, March 1, 2026 concert will have a 2:00 pm start time and will be followed by the official 90th Season Celebration.

You can show your support and secure your seats by purchasing a series subscription or individual tickets. Tickets are on sale now and are available through the Imperial Theatre box office and online at imperialtheatre.net.

The SCA's longevity is a testament to its enduring value to the community. By celebrating 90 years, the organization isn't just marking a historical date—it's celebrating a vibrant, all-volunteer effort that has enriched Sarnia's cultural landscape for nearly a century.
