The annual grassroots event celebrates its second decade by supporting local youth mental health services while hosting over 100 vendors from across Ontario.

A decade-long effort to bring large-scale events to the region continues this month as the Sarnia Pop Culture Show returns for its 11th year. The homegrown gathering is scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the Point Edward Memorial Arena from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
What began in 2013 as a small grassroots meeting for fans of comics and gaming has evolved into a significant community institution. Run entirely by local volunteers, the show has defied the common local sentiment that there is little to do in the city, attracting more than 1,500 attendees last year.
The event serves a dual purpose by acting as a major fundraiser for St. Clair Child & Youth Services. To date, the show has raised over $25,000 for the organization to support mental health initiatives for local families. A portion of every ticket sold goes directly toward these community services.
The arena floor will be filled with more than 100 vendor tables featuring vintage toys, rare collectibles, and comic books. Attendees can also visit an Artist Alley showcasing professional illustrators and independent publishers, as well as a dedicated Cosplay Central and tabletop gaming areas.
Organizers have maintained an affordable entry fee to ensure the event remains accessible to all families. Admission is $10 at the door, and children aged 11 and under are admitted for free. The Point Edward Arena facility is fully accessible at ground level.
Advance tickets are currently available at Future Pastimes on Front Street North. More information regarding the schedule of live demos and gaming competitions can be found on the official event website at www.sarniapopcultureshow.ca.
