DESCRIPTION:Polish-Canadian Community in Sarnia celebrates the life and achievements of astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus (1473 – 1543). As part of celebrating the 550th anniversary of the birth of Copernicus\, the Polish astronomer and the creator of the heliocentric theory\, the Polish Alliance of Canada\, Branch 14 will be hosting a Jubilee Exhibit at the Lambton Mall. The display could be viewed September 1\, 2\, 3 (Friday to Sunday) during Mall’s opening hours.

SUMMARY:Lawrence House "Out of the Attic Sale"
DESCRIPTION:First Friday\, Sept. 1\, Lawrence House\, opening of “Out of the Attic Sale.” The Main Gallery and the Turret Room will be filled with one of a kind pieces of art. Over the years\, the House has been the recipient of many art donations and these will be offered for sale at very reasonable prices\, cash and carry. Ninety percent of the art is original and much is local. Exhibit runs until Sept. 29. Rebound Rocks\, an energetic group of talented musicians\, will perform outside during the evening.
