Looking for a fun and educational activity for the family on the upcoming PA Day? Lambton Heritage Museum invites you to its Farmyard Frolics event on Friday, September 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The event, which takes place in the Museum's new Agricultural Hall, is a great opportunity to explore Lambton County's rich farming history. Families can take part in a farm-themed I Spy scavenger hunt, enjoy broom-making demonstrations at noon, 1:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m., and join guided tours of the new space at 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.

"Our Farmyard Frolics event is a fun way for families to connect with Lambton County's agricultural roots through hands-on activities and heritage demonstrations," says Colleen Inglis, Educational Program Coordinator with the Museum. "We're excited for everyone to experience the updated exhibit space and the way it brings our local farming history to life."

Agriculture has been a cornerstone of the community for over 200 years. The exhibit highlights many aspects of farm life, from clearing the land and raising livestock to planting and harvesting crops.

Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, and $3 for children. Children three and under get in for free. No registration is required.
