DESCRIPTION:Lambton Heritage Museum is hosting the PA Day event Spring Stretch Kids Yoga on Friday\, April 28 from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm. \nTo celebrate the arrival of spring\, the Museum is hosting four\, half-hour yoga sessions for school-aged children led by Linda Weir of Expedition Inner Wisdom. Sessions begin at 11:00 am\, 12:00 pm\, 2:00 pm\, and 3:00 pm. \nChildren will learn nature-inspired yoga poses including tree pose\, seed pose\, and butterfly pose. The interactive sessions will encourage children to reflect on the changing world outside. Yoga mats will be provided and no prior experience is necessary. \nVisitors are encouraged to drop-in for the session of their choice with no registration required. Regular museum admission rates apply for this event. Admission is $5 for adults\, $4 for seniors and students\, $3 for children and $15 for families. Children three and under are free.

DESCRIPTION:The Sarnia & District Labour Council\, Victims of Chemical Valley (VOCV)\, Workers Health & Safety Centre and the Occupational Health Clinic for Ontario Workers (OHCOW) would like to recognize the tragic losses in our community caused by deaths\, injuries and illnesses that occur in workplaces throughout the country. \nON FRIDAY\, APRIL 28 REMEMBER ALL WORKERS\nCeremony at 6:00 p.m. www.facebook.com/sarniaanddistrictlabourcouncil \nWorkers\, their families\, friends\, social justice advocates and concerned citizens are asked to remember those who have died as a result of work and lend support to those injured or suffer with an occupational disease. The National Day of Mourning was commemorated in the Ontario Legislature with the first comprehensive Workers Compensation Act in Canada in 1914. In 1984 the Canadian Labour Congress declared the Day of Mourning for workers killed and injured on the job.\nThe Sarnia & District Labour Council\, Workers Health and Safety Centre\, Victims of Chemical Valley and the Occupational Health for Ontario Workers invites everyone to remember those lives we have lost and the many who suffer as a result of hazardous workplace exposure.
