Dear Editor:

Building accommodations for the homeless/needy families is an expensive proposition.

Does city hall realize there are alternatives to the $40 million current thinking?

There is a tiny home (400 sq. ft.) builder who can build a home for $115,000. I lived in a 41-ft trailer (5-ft was tongue) for three years with three boys under six-years-old, and my patient wife.

These homes can be joined to others in a pod-like arrangement or built with a common area.

Why don't we hear of any proposals coming from our elected men and women?

Respectfully,

Don Ballantyne
