3 years ago now, my wife and I moved into 1255 Sandy Lane after having to sell our home – we just couldn't keep up the large garden maintenance and had to pay to get things done because of the chronic back pain I have had for 14 or 15 years now.

The noise from Sandy Lane traffic. 2% or 3% of the people driving past just don't care and have modified their exhaust systems for more power, which means more noise.. It is often so loud that we can't hear our television when the balcony door or windows are open. Closed it is a bit better but still terribly distracting. We are just fed up with it.
It's apparently been going on for 20+ years, and no one is willing to take the hard steps to reduce it.
So I am writing to Sarnia Council, Point Edward Council and now Sarnia Chief of Police to try to get some action.
