Given the recent unflattering exposure of the Sarnia Police Services Administration's inflated new building costs it's refreshing to see some criticism sent their way. Many people are unhappy with the conduct of the police service itself but are afraid to come forward with any criticism.

As Mr. Colquhoun so rightly pointed out the costs of this publicity stunt go far beyond what the public may perceive. I'm especially interested in the court portion of the costs and the unnecessary burden it places on an already overloaded court system. The individuals will surely be granted bail, given conditions that that probably won't be followed and arrested again at a future date. The cycle goes on.
