We read with interest the submission by Doug Winch on the Sarnia Kiwanis Club and their many supportive activities in the city. The Sarnia Kiwanis Club is certainly a very busy group. At the same time, we are fortunate to have another similar organization in town: the Seaway Kiwanis Club of Sarnia.
The Seaway Kiwanis Club is also a very active group supporting many Sarnia-Lambton initiatives. This includes various school groups, Key Clubs, and the Women's Interval Home. Their main project is the Children's Animal Farm in Canatara Park.
Every year since the early 1950s, the Seaway Kiwanis Club has supported the Children's Animal Farm. The club provides funds for the animals, buildings, repairs, feed, and medical care. Thank you Sarnia-Lambton residents for your longtime support for the Kiwanis Clubs.
