Surely you jest.
The entirety of Sarnia City Council and the Municipal Administration has never shown evidence of efficiency, accountability or 'business smarts'. (Show me a single project or endeavour they did that has. Remember the Agora and the vacated hospital for for instance? Need I say more…).
Mayor and Council are dysfunctional.
I grant this is a good idea and is worth investigating. Imagine small local growers and producers who just want to bring their fresh product(s) to sell directly to the public. The rules, regulations, inspections, liability insurance and of course permits and fees would shy away any hope of this happening.
