A $50,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Dane Nisbet at a Lambton College campus bar.
Sarnia police were called to the student-run Lion’s Den pub shortly before 1 a.m. on April 10, 2026, following reports of gunfire. Three individuals were found injured at the scene. Nisbet later died in hospital, while two others sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have identified 24-year-old Kyaw “Chin” Doe, of London, as the primary suspect. He is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder and is believed to be actively evading arrest. Investigators consider him armed and dangerous.
The reward, now officially set at $50,000, has been consolidated through contributions from Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers, the Sarnia Police Service Board, and a private donation from local councillor Bill Dennis.
Police continue to work with neighbouring agencies and are pursuing multiple leads as the investigation remains ongoing. Three other individuals have been charged in connection with the case and remain in custody. The charges have not been tested in court.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Sarnia police at 519-344-8861. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers at 519-332-8477 or online at p3tips.com.
