The Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce held its 35th annual Outstanding Business Achievement Awards (OBAA) dinner gala on October 24, 2025, at the Four Points by Sheraton, celebrating the region's most accomplished businesses and professionals. Now in its 35th year, the OBAA gala is a highly anticipated business event, honouring individuals and organizations whose leadership, innovation, and community spirit strengthen the region's economic vitality. The celebration brought together leaders from across Sarnia-Lambton's vibrant business community to recognize excellence, innovation, and impact, with a total of 12 awards presented across diverse categories.

The winners of the 2025 OBAA awards are:

  • Small Business of the Year: C.E. Technology Solutions Ltd.

  • Medium Business of the Year: Mary Browns

  • Large Business of the Year: Bluewater Power Group of Companies

  • Entrepreneur of the Year: Lillian Tang (Tang’s China House)

  • Non-Profit of the Year: Pathways Health Centre for Children

  • Inclusivity Award: Sarnia Lambton Rebound

  • Green Business Award: Cargill Limited

  • Young Professional of the Year: Brittany Burling, Libro Credit Union

  • Agri-Business of the Year: Aslan Organics

  • Innovation Award: Lambton College

  • Excellence in Customer Service (Individual): David Burrows

  • Member of the Year: John Degroot

Carrie McEachran, CEO of the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce, said, “For 35 years, the Outstanding Business Achievement Awards have recognized the passion and perseverance that drive our community forward". She added that "Each of this year’s nominees and winners represent what makes Sarnia-Lambton such an exceptional place to live, work, and do business – collaboration, innovation, and a deep commitment to community”.
