A pair of losses ended a promising season for Great Lakes Secondary’s boys baseball team.
The defending OFSAA champions fell to Pickering High School 3 – 1 and Thornhill’s St. Elizabeth Catholic High School 6 – 1, eliminating the Wolfpack from the Western Ontario finals, held in Whitby on June 6.
Great Lakes won Ontario gold last year after defeating Whitby’s Sinclair Secondary School 16 – 9 in London.
Great Lakes had been undefeated during the 2019 LKSSAA regular season.
