A city restaurant has been heavily damaged by fire. Sarnia firefighters from three stations contained the blaze to the front of the Daysbreak Restaurant at 293 East St.

Sarnia firefighters from three stations contained the blaze to the front of the Daysbreak Restaurant at 293 East St. South, but the rest of the brick and block building suffered heat and smoke damage on July 30.
No one was injured in the early morning fire but losses were estimated at $400,000.
The cause had yet to be determined.
