Fairwinds Lodge Retirement Residence will host its grand reopening event this Saturday, Nov. 25, following a devastating fire earlier this year.
The event, taking place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 1218 Michigan Ave. in Sarnia, includes a ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Mike Bradley and Sarnia-Lambton MPP Bob Bailey, food refreshments, prizes, local vendors and live music.
Reconstruction at the facility began several months ago, after a fire displaced all 120 residents on January 15, 2023.
