Four charged in firearms investigation: Sarnia Police

Four individuals face multiple firearm and weapons charges after police executed a search warrant at a Sarnia home last week.

Members of the Sarnia Police Vice Unit and Emergency Response Team (ERT) entered the home just after 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2., police said in a news release.

As a result of the warrant, investigators located and seized the following firearms and weapons:

  • Loaded .22-caliber revolver style handgun
  • .22- caliber rifle
  • Conducted energy weapon (Taser)
  • Expandable baton
  • Butterfly style knife

Drugs seized included

  • 12.81 grams of cocaine
  • 1.83 grams of crack cocaine
  • 1.09 grams of methamphetamine

Three individuals from Sarnia — two aged 39, one age 33 — and a 45-year-old from Port Lambton, have been charged with multiple firearm and weapon related offences.

One individual was held pending a bail hearing.
