A healthcare job fair at Lambton College on March 20 will connect job seekers with hospitals, long-term care homes and community health employers across the region.

Job seekers interested in careers in the healthcare sector will have an opportunity to meet with a wide range of employers later this month at a Healthcare Job Fair hosted by Lambton College Community Employment Services.
The event is scheduled for Friday, March 20 at the Lambton College Community Employment Services office, located inside the Experiential Learning Centre at 1489 London Road in Sarnia.
Organizers say the fair will bring together healthcare employers from across the region, offering attendees the chance to learn about available roles, speak directly with recruiters and explore career pathways in hospitals, long-term care homes, community health organizations and home care services.
The event will run in two sessions. From 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the fair will be open exclusively to Lambton College healthcare students. From 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the event will open to the public.

Employers attending the fair are currently recruiting for a range of healthcare and support positions, including dietary aides, housekeeping staff, office administration roles, therapeutic recreation staff, paramedics, registered practical nurses, registered nurses, personal support workers and home support workers.
Organizers encourage attendees to bring multiple copies of their résumé, dress professionally and be prepared to speak with employers about available opportunities.
Complimentary parking will be available in Lambton College’s general parking lots 16 and 17 for those attending the event.
The fair is free to attend and open to community members, job seekers and recent graduates interested in working in the healthcare field.
