More than 100 local businesses and charity members gathered at Imperial City Brew House on October 6 for #local’s inaugural Local Table event, dedicated to fostering connection, collaboration, and community impact.
The gathering marked the official launch of the #local Marketing Co-op’s new member series, which is designed to bring Co-op partners together to share ideas, celebrate collaboration, and spark initiatives aimed at strengthening the local economy.
Attendees had the opportunity to network with fellow business owners and charitable leaders, learn about upcoming collaborative campaigns, and sample offerings from outstanding Co-op members, including Personal Touch Eatery & Catering, Great Lakes Refill Co., Kombucha Hound, and Angela Sundby – Photographer.
“Local Table is proof of what’s possible when local businesses and charities join as one,” said Rich Bouchard, Co-founder of #local. “Businesses multiply their reach through shared campaigns, and Community Builders provide access for nonprofits so every voice can be heard. Every handshake and idea exchanged strengthens our community, together.”
The event also kicked off #local’s Fall Collabs, which include the Local Shopping Spree Sweepstakes, the return of Secret Santa, and the Shop #local for the Holidays campaign, which launches in November. Further details on these community-driven promotions will be released soon.
The #local Marketing Co-op operates by connecting businesses, charities, and citizens through shared storytelling and pooled marketing power, helping to keep dollars circulating within the community. Membership in the Co-op is currently open to businesses and charities across the region.
