Residents may notice increased flaring at Suncor’s Sarnia Refinery this week, due to “an interruption in service from a third-party provider,” the company say in an alert, Tuesday.
Periods of flaring are expected to continue through the remainder of the week until service can be restored.
“This activity has been communicated to the Spills Action Centre and CAER (Community Awareness Emergency Response),” the company added.
