Kids Funfest is back this summer, bringing a full day of activities, entertainment, and community connections for families with children under 12.

The free annual event runs Saturday, August 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the open field at Canatara Park, featuring hands-on games, live performances, and interactive demonstrations from local organizations, clubs, and businesses.
“We love seeing families come together each year for Kids Funfest,” said Recreation Coordinator Sean Hanlon. “It’s a great opportunity for kids to try something new while parents discover local programs in our community.”
This year’s highlights include:
Inflatables, balloon twisting, Top Shot Hockey, arts and crafts, archery, face painting, dog training, and the duck pond game
Touch-a-Truck with the Sarnia Fire Department, Sarnia Police Service, Wight Bus Lines, and Marcotte Disposal
Live bandshell entertainment:
10 a.m. & 12 p.m. – Craig Douglas Juggling Show
11 a.m. & 1 p.m. – Peter Mennie Comedy Magic Show
