Lambton eSports players tested at U.S. tournament

Two Lambton College eSports players made their competitive debut in the U.S. recently. Brock ‘Quetip’ McCutcheon and Adam ‘Hokage’ Deruyte were among a field of 278 players competing in the Super Smash Brothers Ultimate in Elmhurst, Illinois on Jan.

Two Lambton College eSports players made their competitive debut in the U.S. recently.

Brock ‘Quetip’ McCutcheon and Adam ‘Hokage’ Deruyte were among a field of 278 players competing in the Super Smash Brothers Ultimate in Elmhurst, Illinois on Jan. 18-19.

Both won their opening match but failed to make it past the next round.

McCutcheon finished 193rd overall (1-2) and Deruyte was 129th (2-2). Each was eliminated by a competitor that finished in the top 20.
