The One Seed Project has trained 700 farmers on an earth friendly no-till farming method and encouraged solar-powered water gathering in Zambia.

The project, which has cut greenhouse gas emissions and improved the lives of 4,900 people, was one of three winners at the Enactus Canada Regional Exposition.

Lambton and the other two winning winners from central Canada, the University of Windsor and Ryerson University, now advance to the Enactus National Exposition in Toronto on May 11-13.
