The Sarnia Legionnaires open a new Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League season this weekend as part of the annual league Showcase Tournament at Western Fair Sports Centre in London.
Mark Davis’ charges open the tourney with a game against Thorold on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., before taking on Listowel on Sunday night at 7:45 p.m.
The first home game for the Legionnaires is Thursday, Sept. 15 when the St. Thomas Stars provide the opposition.
Game time is 7:10 p.m. at the Sarnia Arena.
Thursday will again be a primary home date for the Legionnaires this season.
