Mitton Village Neighbourhood Connects is set to host the "Global Village in Mitton Village" event on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Mitton Village Parkette.
The free community gathering will feature a variety of activities and performances. Highlights include a multicultural fashion show and dance performances by students from the International Women's Club at Lambton College. The event will also feature a performance by Aamjiwnaang's women's drumming circle, E'mnotaagzijig.
Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to taste cookies from around the world. The event will also offer crafts and activities designated for children.
The "Global Village in Mitton Village" is a free event open to the public.
In the event of rain, the gathering will be rescheduled for October 9, 2025.
