The St. Clair Catholic District School Board will officially celebrate the opening and blessing of the newly rebuilt Sacred Heart Catholic School in Sarnia on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. The ceremony, which marks a significant milestone for the school community, will be led by Bishop Ronald Peter Fabbro and will include a Mass and ceremonial blessing.
"This has been a long-time dream and effort, and we are so thrilled to officially celebrate the opening and blessing of this beautiful, modern school," said Lisa Demers, the board's Director of Education.
The new school features state-of-the-art learning environments intended to foster creativity and academic excellence in a faith-based setting. The celebration will bring together staff, students, local dignitaries, and community partners to mark the beginning of a new chapter for the school.
